These days are trying! If you are breathing, you are feeling it. This time in American history invites us to reflect on who we have been and who we want to be. But we can’t imagine something else if we don’t tend to the grief, rage, shame, and pain within us, individually and collectively. Facing death means facing life.
We invite you to join us for a Death Salon with Alice and Cara. Please join us if you are feeling the weight of the world and wanting to be in community with folks who will hold space for all the feelings that arise when we face the death of a time in history, a way of living, personal loss of loved ones, or loss of job, home, identity, safety, etc.
Death Cafe
A Death Cafe is a place for people to discuss all aspects of death, dying, grief, and loss openly and without judgment in order to be more fully present while we are alive. Even beyond loss of our loved ones, this space is for anyone grieving loss in all its forms - loss of identity, loss of stability, loss of a relationship. There are no limits on who we are holding space for here; all are welcome.
Join us at the Tucson Museum of Art’s First Thursday to see art, eat good food, and be in community.
